Child custody/visitation violation reports are made to document your statement should you desire to take action. They will NOT be investigated as a crime by the Police Department, Sheriff's Department, or by the District Attorney's Office. Property taken from a locked vehicle is classified as vehicle burglary. In order to provide the best possible service, we cannot accept vehicle burglary reports through our online reporting system.
