About the Office of the Chief
This division is responsible for assisting the chief of police in the management and administration of the Department. The Community Relations Unit works closely with the community and encourages residents to partner with us through programs such as Neighborhood Watch. The Professional Standards Unit coordinates the investigation of personnel complaints, confirms we are adhering to policies and procedures, and ensures we are providing the desired levels of service to our community. This division also manages our payroll, recruitment and hiring, media relations, emergency management, and volunteer program.
