On Tuesday, September 23, 2025, at 5:52 PM, the Newport Beach Police Department Communications Center received a call regarding a solo traffic collision involving a minor on an E-motorcycle in the area of Superior Avenue and Nice Lane.  Officers responded immediately, located the victim, and began rendering aide.  Newport Beach Fire Department Medics responded and transported a juvenile male to a local trauma center.  On Friday, September 26, 2025, the victim succumbed to the injuries sustained in the collision.  The investigation is ongoing and no further details are available at this time.
